Natural Landscape Stone thin wallstone is natural Pennsylvania fieldstone. Thins are basically flat in shape approximately 1"-3" in thickness and 6"-17"in diameter. Because fieldstone is a natural stone product, it varies in size, shape, color, and texture. Usually these characteristics are unique to each jobsite. Which is why we maintain several jobsites at any given time. This gives us the ability to keep enough of an inventory to offer our customers the stone they need.

Our thin fieldstone is stacked on 3' x 4' pallets approximately 30" high. Each pallet weighs about 3000lbs.

Thin wallstone has unlimited applications. It's most commonly used for stonewalls. It is also used for cladding or siding on houses and pillars, in gardens ponds and natural stone waterfalls , anything you can imagine!

How much stone do I need for a stonewall?

One of the questions we are asked the most is "How much stone do I need?". Our hand-stacked Pa. fieldstone pallets are 3' x 4' stacked 30" high, which makes them 30 cubic feet. Figure the cubic feet of the stonewall you desire - length(in feet) x width(in feet) x height(in feet), and divide by 30. That should give you the approximate number of pallets for your stonewall.
